Sgt. Stephen Sims of Charlie Company, 1-508 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne, goes through the procedures of mock door training, where jumpmasters put paratroopers through the procedures of jumping out of a plane while still on the ground. This training prepares paratroopers for the stressful exercise of an airborne jump, and instills them with confidence and preparation in how to properly and safely conduct airborne operations.
