SAN DIEGO (Nov. 8, 2021) Hospitalman Brayden Himes, a Sailor assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego, celebrates with a beneficiary after she receives her COVID-19 vaccine at the hospital’s Pediatrics Department Nov. 8. The COVID-19 vaccine is newly available for beneficiaries age five to 11 years old. NMRTC San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
