Mount Vernon, Washington - USACE Seattle District Flood Team members Stephen “Skip” Green (standing on grass) flood team leader, and Silad “Shooter” On (standing on concrete) flood team member, stabilize a damaged levee by placing rock armor along a 150 linear feet section on the left bank of the river, to mitigate against levee failure during the flood, Nov. 11, 2021. The activity is in response to an atmospheric river and heavy precipitation currently impacting the region.
