North Carolina National Guard Soldiers attend the classroom portion of a Special Forces Readiness Evaluation (SFRE) sponsored by Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Albemarle, North Carolina, Sept. 17-19, 2021. A SFRE is a multi-day event that assesses a Soldier’s potential to attend the Special Forces Assessment and Selection. The NCARNG is an Always Ready, Ready Team of citizen Soldiers with available opportunities to enhance a person’s skills and confidence levels.
