Representatives with Europe District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, celebrated the grand opening of the Department of Defense Education Activity’s first 21st-century high school worldwide – Wiesbaden High School -- with DoDEA-Europe, Installation Management Command-Europe, U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden and Hessen Construction and Finance ministries and school partner 2nd Theater Signal Brigade Sept. 13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Wiesbaden High School was the first of three schools constructed together in a campus as part of an overhaul of Department of Defense Education Activity schools at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden in Germany that had dated to the 1950s.
