211119-N-EV253-1463 SAN DIEGO (Nov. 18, 2021) – Chief Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) Aaron Albright, assigned to the "Eightballers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, sings the national anthem during a chief petty officer (CPO) pinning ceremony hosted by the “Merlins” of HSC-3 aboard Naval Air Station North Island. During the ceremony, 28 selectees assigned to tenant squadrons responsible to Commander, Helicopter Sea Combat Wing, Pacific, were promoted to the rank of CPO, and represented their respective squadrons, including the “Merlins” of HSC-3, the “Black Knights” of HSC-4, the “Indians” of HSC-6, the “Eightballers” of HSC-8, “Golden Falcons” of HSC-12, “Chargers” of HSC-14, “Blackjacks” of HSC-21, “Wildcards” of HSC-23 and “Firehawks” of HSC-85.
