SSgt Yohei Takayama is assigned to the Civil Engineering Section, Air Base Support Squadron, Operations Support Wing at Yokota and works as a facility maintenance and repair technician. SSgt Takayama joined the JASDF because he wanted to help people serving his country and be a part of that force. He enjoys successfully repairing things and helping others who need it. Takayama has been a part of the JASDF for 11.5 years and highly recommends people visiting Japan to go and see the abundance of Japanese temples!

髙山陽平３等空曹は、作戦システム運用隊基地業務隊施設小隊で、施設の維持補修業務に当たっています。髙山３曹は、国のために働いている人を支えるとともに、自分も国防に携わる一員となるため、航空自衛隊に入隊しました。修繕作業が上手くいき、他の人たちの役に立っていると感じるときにやりがいを感じるそうです。髙山３曹は１１年半自衛隊で勤務しています。日本を訪れる方々にはぜひ、寺巡りを楽しんでもらいたいそうです！
