267th Signal Company, Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, is training its signal professionals on the High-Capacity Line-Of-Sight (HCLOS) radio during a two-day exercise where the participating Soldiers will be evaluated on how quickly and efficiently they can set up the system. Teamwork and effective communication are key.
"When we are putting up 15-meter mast HCLOS radios and establishing our networks, I need to be able to trust my fellow Soldiers with my safety and the safety of the equipment," said Spc. Caleb Reeves, a Seneca, South Carolina native and Army multichannel transmission systems operator-maintainer (25Q). "Victory wellness days allow me to get to know my team members and help build that trust so that when we are training I can stay focused on the task at hand."
