The Fort McCoy Garrison Command Team of Garrison Commander Michael Poss; Deputy Garrison Commander Lt. Col. Chad Maynard; and Command Sergeant Maj. Raquel DiDomenico, garrison command sergeant major, present an appreciation award Dec. 6, 2021, at Fort McCoy, Wis., to the Directorate of Emergency Services Fire Department for a special response the department supported Oct. 23, 2021, in Tomah, Wis. Specifically, Firefighters Allen Sheston, Ronald Nedland, and Lucas Milewski were recognized for supporting a Tomah ambulatory emergency call through mutual aid support. The Fort McCoy firefighters, who are also certified emergency medical technicians, helped Michael Forlines with Tomah Ambulance provide special care for a patient by going above and beyond what was required.
