During the visit, 22nd STS leadership gave USSOCOM leaders a tour of the squadron facilities, new virtual reality and medical simulation training tools as well as an orientation of the squadron’s Preservation of the Force and Family program. The tour allowed USSOCOM leadership to learn about how the 22nd STS uses new technological resources and embedded support personnel to help their Special Tactics Airmen maintain maximum physical and mental readiness to carry out their demanding special operations missions of Global Access, Precision Strike and Personnel Recovery.
