The "Zap Flap" tested on this General Aristocrat 102-E was later tested on a variety of aircraft by the NACA at Langley Field, including a trio of Fairchild monoplanes. The inscription on the Aristocrat's side mention the Zap Development corporation of Logan Field, Boston, Massachusetts.
