SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Michigan — Shaun Pardy an equipment engineer with the 127th Civil Engineer Squadron Roads and Grounds shop here, diligently clears the snow early this morning, operating an 92 Oshkosh snowplow number 27. The Oshkosh TA 2530 is powered by a Detriot Diesel power plant with a 20-foot Wausau blade. Pardy was also named the 127th Wing 2021 State Employee of the Year. As Selfridge never closes, the Roads and Grounds crews works diligently to keep the ramp and streets clear so that the mission is never impacted. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Terry L. Atwell)
