Master Sgt. Jennifer Sauer with the 127th Wing Security Forces Squadron is an antiterrorism program manager, and non-commission officer in charge of investigations and intelligence.
As a Security Forces specialist Sauer is trained in law enforcement and combat arms to protect and serve their fellow Airmen on Selfridge Air National Guard military base.
She considers it to be an honor to be a woman in the military. "It brings to light the fact that women make up a large majority of military specialties," said Sauer. "There have been mountains moved by not only female leaders, but across all ranks in today's military. It's exciting to see what barriers will be tackled next!"
