FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Pre-Commissioning Unit Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28) Sailors Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jason Cheung (right) and Logistics Specialist Seaman Recruit Maria Mia participated in “Finally Friday on Sistrunk,” a pop-up series presented by the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Jan. 28 . The free outdoor event featured a pop-up with vendors, food trucks, art, music, and live entertainment along historic Sistrunk Boulevard. Fort Lauderdale Sailors interacted with the community and engaged with them in regard to our upcoming Commissioning Ceremony and the ship's characteristics.
