In support of Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain 2022 Force Protection Exercise, JEB Little Creek-Fort Story activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to respond to the simulated active shooter event. The EOC is the central command and control facility responsible for carrying out the principles of emergency preparedness and emergency management, or disaster management for the installation. Exercise Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain is a two-part, anti-terrorism force protection exercise conducted annually at Navy installations nationwide.
