Spc. Anthony Rozzel an Infantryman with Delaware company, 1st Battalion,1-501st parachute infantry regiment, inspects a damaged M2A1 .50 caliber machine gun, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 24, 2022. During annual weapons qualifications this M2A1 Browning .50 caliber machine gun sustained receiver damage due to a cartridge explosion. From here the armorer will code this weapon out of service and order a new one.
