Spc. Jontavious Ross, automated logistical specialist with Company B, 704th Brigade Support Battalion, 2SBCT, 4th Infantry Division.
Ross joined the U.S. Army in 2019 to provide a better life for his family.
"I joined the Army so my son can go to college and have a better life," said the Albany, Georgia native.
Black History Month holds significant meaning to Ross especially for what it stands for.
"People fought for their rights to get us to where we are today," said Ross.
