CARIBBEAN SEA - (Feb. 27, 2022) -- The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15) sails in formation with the Virginia-class fast attack submarine USS Minnesota (SSN 783), the Colombian navy submarine ARC Pijao (SSK-28), Colombian navy Dauphin helicopters, and Colombian navy maritime patrol aircraft during a bilateral anti-submarine warfare exercise, Feb. 27, 2022. Billings is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
