These photos were taken as the first planeload of prisoners of war released on 4 March 1973 arrived at the Clark Air Base flight line. On hand to greet the returnees were Adm. Gayler, Gen. Moore, and a member of the State Department (unidentified) and a Marine Corps. Sergeant Major (unidentified) the first man off the plane is Col. James H. Kasler, USAF, who expressed thanks at his release. The last two frames are a reproduction of a list of returnees in their order of debarkation from the plane which was published by the Joint Information Bureau, with exception of Col. Kasler, the names follow the order in which the returnees debarked, but not all returnees are pictured on this roll. 4 Mar 1973.
