    Air Force Airman 1st Class Patrick Sullivan, a photojournalist with the 673d Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office, photographs a joint operations field training exercise at Camp Mad Bull, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 26, 2022. Air Force engineers from the 673d Civil Engineer Group and Alaska Army National Guardsmen with the 207th Engineer Utility Detachment conducted the joint operations training to demonstrate mission-readiness skills in arctic conditions. The exercise consisted of airlift operations, construction of arctic defensive fighting positions, and a simulated small arms assault designed to evaluate and strengthen responses by the Air Force and Alaska Army National Guard personnel.
