USAID is helping bring more green spaces to Mosul!
When Sakar returned to Mosul after years of displacement, he found his neighborhood, Al-Manqousha reduced to rubble.
To help with the reconstruction, Sakar rented a piece of land and turned it into a community playground. USAID supported Sakar with food stands, playground equipment, and a fresh coat of paint.
The playground now serves as a welcoming venue for children and a gathering place for the community.
