Army Lt. Col. Melissa L. Hoaglin, Professor of Military Science, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, right, presents 88th Readiness Division Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Darrell Guthrie with a framed piece of art created by a former cadet depicting the University of Minnesota Armory, a historic building on the University of Minnesota campus. The Armory (pictured) was constructed in 1896 for military training on the university grounds. Guthrie accepted the art after speaking earlier during the 2022 Dining Out on March 4th, 2022, during a social event that celebrates professional accomplishments by the cadets and staff in the U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program, The Dining Out instills a esprit de corps by introducing traditions in the United States Army and the ROTC program.
