Chief Warrant Officer 3 Danielle Watkins
Aviation Safety Officer for the 2-104th General Support
Aviation Battalion
Why I continue to serve:
“I love the comradery, sense of being part of something greater than myself, and a bond deeper than anything else I’ve experienced that we all share as military members and veterans. I’ve often said there is nothing like the friendships you develop in the military. I have friends all over the country that I still stay in contact with, and one as far back as advanced individual training in 2002.”
In the photo: (Left to Right) Staff Sgt. HollyAnn Nicom (now Nixdorf), Warrant Officer Danielle Klinger (now Watkins), and Sgt. Ashley Harrer (now Bailor) pose for a photo before their flight on September 28, 2012. Between graduating flight school in May and leaving for her 2nd deployment in November, Warrant Officer Klinger was able to fly with some of the Soldiers that she has served with over her career.
