(220303-N-OI810-0373) GULFPORT, Mississippi (March 3, 2022) Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Jarod Richardson, left, from Statesboro, Georgia, and Builder 1st Class Brian Marques, from Burlison, Tennessee, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 14, conduct a required situational check on an MK-31 tractor before it is driven to Camp Shelby, Mississippi during fiscal year 2022, quarter two, Regional Training Platform (RTP-2). RTP-2, held at Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport and Camp Shelby, provided NMCB-14 Seabees hands-on training opportunities in tactical combat casualty care; maintenance and material management; civil engineering support equipment operations; convoy operations; construction operations; combat operations center operations; and Seabee combat warfare and expeditionary skills. NMCB-14 provides advance base construction, battle damage repair, contingency engineering, humanitarian assistance and disaster recovery support to our fleet and unified commanders.
