Joerg Weinmann is the transportation motor pool supervisor at Logistics Readiness Center Wiesbaden, 405th Army Field Support Brigade. Pictured here is Weinmann’s grandmother, Agnes Weinmann, who fled Czechoslovakia following World War II with his grandfather. When they arrived in Germany, Weinmann said the German government gave them a little house and the U.S. Army gave them jobs. His grandmother was a waitress at an Army club on Ayers Kaserne in Kirch-Goens, he said. (Courtesy photo)
