As part of Women's History Month we spotlight CAPT Franca Jones, Commanding Officer of NAMRU-6. Since 2002, CAPT Jones has played critical roles across the Department of Defense and the Navy Medicine Research and Development enterprise. She is the first woman to command NAMRU-6, and the first woman microbiologist to serve at helm of a Navy command.
