Douglas BTD-1 Destroyer: The single-seat Douglas BTD-1 Destroyer torpedo-bomber was developed from the two-seat XSB2D-1 scout-bomber. Although not put into full production, the BTD-1 lessons learned with the Destroyer were incorporated into the Douglas Skyraider's predecessor, the BT2D-1.
