U.S. Army Pfc. Koby Moore, wheeled vehicle mechanic, assigned to Echo Company, 1-3 Attack Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade removes an engine from a generator at Lielvarde Air Base, Latvia, April 5, 2022. Koby is originally from the Pacific island of Palau, he moved to the United States in 2014 where he lived in Alaska. Upon graduation from Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska, on May 22, 2020, Pfc. Moore joined the U.S. Army later that year on September 15. Moore joined the Army to help his family and to go to college.12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
