ESBJERG, DENMARK (April 6, 2022) From left to right, U.K. Brig. Gen. Chris King, commander, 104th Theatre Sustainment Brigade, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Robert Burke, deputy commanding general for support, U.S. Army V Corps and Denmark Maj. Gen. Wiggers Hyldgaard, chief of joint operations stand shoulder to shoulder after witnessing a successful demonstration of interoperability: a port operation in which U.K. forces managed transit logistics of British and American military equipment to a Danish port. V Corps is America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe and works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European such as the 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, 41st Field Artillery Brigade, and 4th Security Forces Assistance Brigade.
