220418-N-UF592-1045 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Apr. 18, 2022) Culinary Specialist Seaman Ovidio Rivera, from Lapaz, El Salvador, moves supplies in the hangar bay of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan Sailors move supplies to various storerooms across the ship once they arrive pier side while in port, as well as by replenishment-at-sea while underway. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
