Meet your Defender, U.S. Army Spc. Macavion Williams, assigned to Headquarters Company, 510th Regional Support Group, from Jacksonville, North Carolina. He joined the U.S. Army because of his grandfather, a former Marine, and looks forward to completing his education in cyber security and exploring a path to commissioning as a cyber or signal officer. Currently serving as the intelligence NCOIC for the brigade supporting training units as part of DEFENDER-Europe 22 near Adazi, Latvia, Williams is providing daily intelligence and threat briefs to the commander and staff. “I’m proud to step-up as a specialist and provide the commander the information he needs to make decisions. It’s an honor to have this opportunity to perform this role.”
