Meet your Defender, U.S. Army Cpl. Alexis Alvarado, assigned to Headquarters Company, 510th Regional Support Group, from El Paso, Texas. Alvarado enlisted in 2015 and completed her training to become military police, and is currently the brigade’s force protection NCO. She is now using her force protection expertise to manage facilities and base access requests for the brigade supporting training units as part of DEFENDER-Europe 22 near Tapa, Estonia.
“This was my first annual training, and I like seeing how the other partners are interested in us,” said Alvarado. “I got to trade my first flag with them, I never had a chance to do that before.”
