U.S. Navy Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Christopher Yang, assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 4, raises the anchor during static and dynamic maritime force protection procedures at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Navy Boat Docks, North Carolina, May 5, 2022. The exercise was intended to increase the sailors’ ability to gauge maneuvers of small enemy boats and their understanding of the enemy’s thought process.
