Cosmonaut Maxim Suraev, Expedition 22 flight engineer, laid flowers at the statue of Yuri Gagarin, the first human to fly in space, at a traditional welcome home ceremony March 24, 2010, at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia. Suraev and NASA astronaut Jeffrey Williams returned to Earth March 18 with a landing in their Soyuz TMA-16 spacecraft in Kazakhstan to complete 169 days in space and 167 days on the International Space Station.
