Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, responds to a question at a 'town hall' meeting held Jan. 13, at Guantanamo Bay. He shared his vision of the future of the Navy and Joint Task Force Guantanamo with the service members assembled there. JTF Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations.
