Sgt. 1st Class Jeffery M. Dawson, the most highly decorated Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician in the history of the elite 28th Ordnance Company (EOD), recently retired after recovering from a combat-related gunshot wound that paralyzed him from the chest down.
