The 332d Air Expeditionary Wing's Warrior of the Week for the week of June 6, 2022, is Senior Airman Anthony J. Lendo, 335th Expeditionary Fighter Generation Squadron F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft integrated avionics technician.
“Ever since he's been here, he's been non-stop and hasn't slowed down,” said Master Sgt. Jesse D. Simmons, 335th EFGS specialist section chief. “Anytime there's a job, he's immediately on it. His goal is to be the best he can be at what he does: his sole mission is to put planes in the air.”
As part of the 335th EFGS, Lendo’s work ethic and technical expertise on routine and substantial maintenance jobs enables the 332d AEW to provide combat airpower and regional security. His expert diagnoses, troubleshooting, and remedies to F-15E avionics issues return grounded aircraft back to pilots, ready for the next flight.
Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.
