Norfolk Naval Shipyard's Code 930 Zone Manager Anthony Britton and Code 300 Quality Advocate Michelle Lappin. Britton was among the teams sent overseas from America's Shipyard in 2005 to help armor the trucks of the soldiers. In 2006, Lappin's unit were in trucks that were serviced that ensured the survival of the Soldiers during an IED attack. Now both working at NNSY, the two learned of their connection and wanted to highlight the importance of serving the mission and how what NNSY does each day helps save lives.
