U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Tige Platt, the 514th Air Mobility Wing command chief, describes the air refueling process of a KC-10 Extender to Master Sgt. Yvette Guillen, 514th Operations Support Squadron, 514 AMW non-nommissioned officer in charge, and Staff Sgt. Deana Ditri, 514 OSS combat crew communications specialist, over the Eastern United States on June 8, 2022. One of the many capabilities of the 514th AMW is to facilitate aircraft-to-aircraft refueling services while in flight, extending the duration an aircraft can stay in the air or the distance they can travel without having to land.
