(June 14, 2022) – Master-at-Arms 2nd class Nathan Taylor, assigned to Naval Submarine Base New London, operates a mounted gun, loaded with blank ammunition, on board a patrol boat in the Thames River during the regularly-scheduled Navy-wide exercise Citadel Protect. SUBASE New London Security Forces participated in the annual exercise to enhance the readiness of base security forces by executing various drills using security boats, simulated aggressor boats, home ported submarines, and waterfront facilities.
