U.S. Army Lt. Col. Benjamin Ecklor gives remarks after taking command of the 106th Finance Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, at a reactivation ceremony June 15, 2022 at Daenner Kaserne. The 106th Finance Battalion was first constituted and activated in 1944. Soldiers from the 106th Finance Battalion have earned campaign participation credit in World War II, the Korean War, Southwest Asia in defense of Saudi Arabia, the Liberation and Defense of Kuwait, Operation Ceasefire and the War on Terrorism in Iraq. "You will receive nothing but the best service support from everyone in this organization," said Ecklor.
