SACRAMENTO, Calif-(Jun. 14, 2022)-Lance Izumi, (left), Civilian Aide to the
Secretary of the Army, and Lt. Col. Eddie Gonzalez, Incoming Commander,
Norcal Recruiting Battalion, 6th Brigade, use a saber to cut a cake 14 June
in honor of the Army's 247th Birthday with Lt. Col. Dave Clay, Commander,
Norcal Recruiting Battalion to the right.
The cake was cut by the youngest and oldest members at the ceremony held at
Pacific Research Institute in Sacramento, California.
The ceremony was attended by Lance Izumi, Lt. Col. Dave Clay, Lt. Col. Eddie
Gonzalez, Ted Gaines, Cindy Beck, Bill Cardoza, Frank Goehringer, Tim
