AL HAMRA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (June 21, 2022) – A U.S. Marine assigned to Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Central Command throws a smoke grenade to mask the United Arab Emirate Presidential Guard egress during exercise Iron Defender 22 at Al Hamra training camp, UAE, June 21. Iron Defender is an annual bilateral training event between U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and forces from the United Arab Emirates.
