Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, walk the 50-acre Luxembourg American Cemetery grounds, June 11, 2022. The cemetery dedicated in 1960 is the resting place of nearly 5,100 Americans. The group of 10 Soldiers from Headquarters Company, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, toured the cemetery and memorial as the final stop of a three-day Leader Professional Development (LPD) trip to Belgium and Luxembourg, June 9-11, 2022. 12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe. They work alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
