U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Steven Basham, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa deputy commander, coined U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jacob Sheppard, an F-16 Fighting Falcon Weapons Specialist, assigned to the 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, for outstanding performance during the Innovation and Leadership in Aerospace Tradeshow in Berlin, held at the Berlin Expo Center Airport, Berlin Brandenburg International Airport, June 24, 2022. In addition to coining Sheppard, Basham also coined other Airmen, Soldiers and a Sailor for the support they provided to U.S. military aircraft participating as static aircraft, who specialize in a variety of career fields, to include weapons, electronic warfare, crew chiefs, a loadmaster and security forces.
