Mr. Leo Aguado, Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) LA Service Business Manager, left, and Ms. Sunny Britt, AAFES LA Administrative Assistant, present a dividend check to Col Becky Beers, LA Garrison commander, for more than $237K on July 5, 2022 at Los Angeles Air Force Base. The check represents a portion of the sales from Airmen, Guardians, civilians, retirees and family members who shop at the LA Exchange and who patronize vendors. Out of every dollar that is left over, after payroll and expenses are paid, some 60 cents goes to help fund MWR programs. The other portion goes into a capital improvement fund which helps with renovations of the exchange. With the decline in COVID, the dividend check for this year is an increase from last year.
