New Hampshire Rep. Chris Pappas addresses attendees at the 64th Air Refueling Squadron assumption of command ceremony July 8, 2022, at Pease Air National Guard Base in Newington, New Hampshire. The 64th was originally assigned to Pease in 2009 in support of the KC-135 Stratotanker, which was divested in 2019. The unit returned to help support the Wing's new complement of a dozen KC-46A Pegasus refuelers. The 64th is expected to grow to 160 Airmen by December 2023. "Welcome home to the 64th Air Refueling Squadron," Pappas said in his remarks. "I can't help but admire the paint job on the tail," he said of the Spirit of Portsmouth KC-46A Pegasus on display during the ceremony. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Charles Johnston)
