Growing up in an orphanage in Taiwan, she immigrated to the United States in 2012, before ultimately enlisting in the United States Air Force in 2020. On her first deployment, Dwyer has seized the opportunity to branch out and find her purpose. “It’s been a really great deployment so far. I enjoy finding new people and making new friends. That’s what makes this great. I think I’m a positive influence on others by the energy I bring to the table. I feel like that’s my purpose in life is to go around and meet people.
