On July 8, 2022, Deydre S. Teyhen was promoted to brigadier general at a ceremony on Joint Base San Antonio. Army Medicine congratulates its newest brigadier general: Deydre S. Teyhen. Left: Lt. Gen. She is the first- physical therapist and active-duty Specialist Corps officer ever promoted to the rank of brigadier general in the U.S. Army. She has excelled in everything she has done in uniform, including being an outstanding leader and commander.
