Fort Wainwright held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Morale, Welfare and Recreation aquatic facility July 29. The facility will include a 25-meter pool for lap swimming as well as a splash pad area, water slides, sprayers, dump buckets, lounge areas, locker rooms, and food and beverage services.
